Thursday, January Obasi Jackon kicked off the year by hosting “Revolution for Love,” a showcase of musicians and artists of all sorts. Obasi organized this event as a way to bring the art community together in a welcoming environment. The event was held at Loft 251 in Brooklyn. Guests were treated to food by <> and cannabis edibles made by <>.

The show featured Elee James, Akay The Pharaoh, Juss The Loyal, Casey Chang, Stunna Dior, and Turbeazy. Following the show there was an open mic with some dope talent. Being a native of the South, I was pleasantly surprised by all the love and courtesy shown by the patrons. The event definitely lived up to its title. Much love.
